The NFL week 13 Picks Against the spread have several sure-fire winners for the week. As part of my usual NFL coverage I will feature the NFL Best Bets, NFL Lock of the Week, and NFL Upset of the Week.

Here are the NFL Best bets For Week 13:

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Cincinnati Bengals want to prove that they should be taken seriously in the AFC North. To accomplish this feat they have to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ben Roethlisberger comes into this game with a hurt thumb and the Steelers may look to run more than normal, which plays into the hands of the Bengals defense.

Andy Dalton is playing like a veteran under center and unlike the previous meeting, rookie stud wide receiver A.J. Green will be in the lineup. Although 56% of the money is on the Steelers, the line has dropped from 7 to 6.5, which is a clear indication the smart money is on the Bengals. The Bengals are 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall and they have a shot to win this game on the field.

Cincinnati Bengals +6.5

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

Let’s stay in the AFC North for the second best bet of the week. Keep your eye on Browns running back Peyton Hillis as he is poised for a breakout game and is playing much better in recent weeks.

The Ravens will have the services of linebacker Ray Lewis who is returning from injury, but teams take a step back when a superstar returns to the lineup. The Browns are in a great betting angle as they are home divisional dogs and 83% of the public is on the Ravens although the line is dropping. This indicates smart money pouring in on the Browns.

The Ravens are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games as a road favorite of 3.5-10.0 and have had a bad habit of lying down against weaker opponents this year.

Cleveland Browns +6

Miami Dolphins vs. Oakland Raiders

The Raiders are having a great season, but will be in a tough spot on this cross country road trip. There is also a system play involved in this game: During the month of December only, play against any road underdog coming off of three or more ATS wins (61-40-6, 60.4% ATS since 1985). That theory states that the Raiders should be comfortable with their winning ways and have no motivation to turn it up on the road. As expected 77% of the public is on the road team, and that makes the Dolphins as small chalk an attractive selection.

Miami Dolphins -3
